Just a few from my first senior session. Senior shots around these parts have been the traditional cap and gown shots. There are a few of us in the area are trying to change that. I have about 4 sessions lined up so far this month.

Pic 1-nice portrait.
the notice of the eyes color
and the focus selection.

pic 3-interesting location and angle.
in my opinion,a little
smile was better.

Good luck with the new venture! I like number 1 - number 2 not a big fan of the railroad track going through her head - perhaps a different angle would have worked. Number 3 to me is a good start. I would maybe move her away from the wall more and try to blow out the wall and add some punch and vibrance to those colors. Looks like the model was a breeze to work with too!

Dan, a few suggestions, if you don't mind...
1. The best of the series. I would like to see it a little brighter, a touch more contrast, and slightly warmer.
2. Very awkward. The way she is placed in the frame, and all the cut off limbs/body parts makes me cringe.
3. Nice, but could use some of the same as #1. It looks like it was taken in less than ideal light...
