Didn't have many chances to use the 80-400VR on my trip to see family, but do have these and needless to say, I'm tickled pink....

The 1st pic is with my 24-120VR of an old house (at 45mm) - there's a woman in a chair, reading, behind a column.

The 2nd pic is of her, using the 80-400VR, hand held at 400mm (600mm equivalent on the D70.

The 3rd is just a shot with the 80-400VR of my better half while she was watching me take the other pictures at 230mm (345mm equivalent). On the original at larger size you can clearly see the individual wales of her corduroy shirt.

Ken,

I can see why you are pleased. I also agree that she is definitely your better half.

Congrat's on the new lens.

Hey Ken,

Congratulations on getting the new lens, I hope that you enjoy the heck out of it. It will certainly complement your camera bag arsenal.

And by the way...the EXPOdisk is awesome...thanks for offering the information that pushed me to get it.
