Nothing much to shoot because I'm stuck at home with a sick little boy but I'm pretty pleased with this camera so far.

Only adjusted highlights.

Hey shovel, where you taking that dog?

Glad you are liking your D200. I got mine a couple of days ago and I'm delighted with it. It's giving me results every bit as good as I got with my Canon 1Ds (MkI). I really like the ergonomics of the Nikon. And it feels so light and agile in my hands compared to the brick I was shooting with.

Very Nice, I'm glad someone else posted their first shots. I too am stuck at home doing paper work, with my camera calling out to me. I can't wait for spring. Almost everything I tried so far has been with flash

Brew,

The snow is nice and white, did you let the camera auto white balance? Did you push the EV +1 for the correct exposure?

Or was it just - Shoot!!

Too funny, our beagle just looks at us with a disgusted look on her face if we don't shovel a path for her for her walks....

Thanks for the kind comments.

I had it in auto WB set to -1. I made adjustments is PS to bring back the blown snow a little.
