Today I had the chance to shoot MotoCross for the first time. This is the first results... I have hundreds that I have not looked at....

Wow! How about some info, lens? settings? I shot my son riding this morning and was mostly choking on dust - they turned the sprinklers on as we were leaving!

Stephanie: I have used an D200 with an sigma 120-300 f/2,8 lens. I choose to go for an appeture about f/3,5- 4,5 so I got the DOF that I wanted. The shutterspeed was in the range of 1/1000-1/3000 sec. But that was changing all the time....and yes there was dust all over the place :biggrin: I have to clean gear tonightizzy:

great shots, even Artistic, those first ones. Indeed, I wish the local tracks here were setup to help create the images you have made!

keep up the good work, hope to see some more racing from Denmark's MX tracks.

I'm not sure because I'm not that much into MotoCross. But I think I heard about a guy there was doing pretty well last year...I will try to ask some people that I know and return with an better answer...

I shoot a lot of motocross myself and they are good shots. The images seem like they could have a tweak to the WB. They have greenish/yellow tint to them. If you don't mind I can tweak a couple and show you the differences.

I can see that it helped, but It was not like that. not that red and green but maybe somthing between.
