I've been in Tucson for 14 years and this was my first trip to Saguaro National Park East. I will definitely be back.

Let me apologize first for SLIGHTLY hijacking your thread, but I just read an article in today's NY Times that discusses Saguaro Nat'l Park and it made my stomach turn.

Moderator - if this reply is posted in the wrong place, feel free to move it with my apologies. Just that I was looking at the wonderful images from Saguaro here a scant 5 minutes after reading the article.

Thankfully, I didn't't see any of that on this visit. I had heard a story on the radio about petroglyphs being vandalized a few weeks ago. What a shame.

Interesting series! Great composition. I can't wait to see what you have for us next time you go.

Nice! Very interesting compositions and lighting. I like #3 and 4 best. #2 is great also, but I'd suggest cropping some off the whitish sky off the top to emphasize the transition from light orange to dark orange and the purple mountains.

It's a neat place and you have captured it well. Hard to pick a favorite they are all so good.

Blows away my sad images of a rainbow at SNP in the 80's... Well done, and hope to see many more in the future...

Thanks, although I'm sure your rainbow shots are not anywhere near as bad as you make the out to be. Rainbows are always winners.
