This California Quail posed for me in my backyard. I got as close as I could with my 70-300 vr. I got about 3 shots off before it ran away followed by a bunch babies that were behind the rock.

PP consisted mainly of curves to increase contrast and toning down the very bright rock it was sitting on.

    Thanks for looking,

    Tom

    Peano,

Just what I need, another great forum to spend too much time on. All kidding aside, this looks like a fantastic forum, thanks for the tip.
