First try with Portrait Professional

I just downloaded portrait professional and gave it a quick whirl tonight.
I must say that I am impressed. Very easy to use and tremendously versatile.
I tried it out on a quick snap I took a few months ago of my better half. Anne is in her mid fifties, so I won't try to make her look like a Barbie doll and I only made small enhancements with this image.
I find that one should not just rely on PP, but a combination of Ps (CS5) and PP can really make a good formal image. That if it is your objective, I won't start using it on everything for sure. But for somewhat more formal images I know that I will use it a good bit. I like it!

You did a good job. I find that PP adjustments are often overdone so I have to back off and finish in Photoshop. It looks like you did as well and it turned out nice.

Agreed that going easy is really key here, just as it is with many other post processing techniques (HDR for example, which is so often overdone).

I love PP and use it requently. You will enjoy having it around. And by the way, Anne is absoltuely stunning!
