Love tulips. First weekend in May will be Tulip time here Pella. They get their bulbs from Holland I believe. I will be heading there to take some photos, probably after all the festivities so that there aren't as many people there.

Dossy when you ever travel to Holland do it then in mid April till half may.
then you can visit the keukenhof and the bulb fields..

most bulbs are from holland big export product. when the tulips are open the cut of the flower that way the power go into the bulb, and then you can plant it for next year

Thanks Tom over here are so many new tulips some are just for one year other for longer period.

2 new ones there will be more we had a 175 miles car drive today to find some beautys.

we had to search for the tulips they are just popping out the ground.
