Finally got out to a lake near my daughter for some slalom course instruction. Plans for the rest of this year are on hold. :(

Great photos, equally as impressive is that the kid looks so relaxed, while she's shredding!

Thanks, Randy. I hate to say it, but the gear has a lot to do with it. My son knows his way around the camera but doesn't shoot much. I handed him this combo and told him to take photos of my wife skiing. The kid didn't miss! Every shot in focus. Without my asking he said, "That is the greatest camera/lens combo he as ever used. Perfect focal length and balance. Plus the focus locks on the skier and never lets go." He was grinning from ear to ear. Sure I chose the settings, but this combo works perfectly for this sport.
