Fledgling Blue

Discussion in 'Birds' started by hangin tree, Jul 17, 2007.

  1. Someone had asked awhile back how to tell young Great Blue Herons from Mature. Here is a picture of a Young GBH probably less than a week out of nest. I think you will see the differences.

    Beautiful capture
  3. Thank You Gale

There are increasing numbers of these birds here right now, for those interested in GBH shots.
  4. That shot is a beauty, with good saturated colors.
  5. Well Thank you very much Gordon, I think the evening light help to get the rich colors.
