Got this one in the tree out behind the building where I work. I think that it is a Northern Flicker It was very overcast, so the lighting was poor,
but I felt like the result was better than nothing.

  2. Great shot Frank. Always did love the look of a Flicker.

Very nice Rory. Which lens? Was this the 800? In any case, it is much better than mine which I just ran around the building and shot hand-held.

  12. Very nice Frank and the background is fine I have been looking for these guys, I had one in my sights a week back and just before I pulled the trigger whoosh he was gone.
hunting these little guys is a whole different story than the big birds.

Well done Frank and Rory. I've seen these in my yard but haven't been able to capture them yet. Nice shots by both of you.
