Flight shot with 80-400VR

Discussion in 'Birds' started by Dave Rosser, Nov 12, 2005.

  1. This is I think my best attempt so far of a flight shot with the D1H 80-400VR combination. Taken at Aransas National Wildlife Refuge, Texas after I had been eaten alive by mosquitos:eek:

Don't know if it's your best

It sure is good though, clean and sharp, you can be proud!

    Very good Dave,
Excellent I would say. I love the Osprey.

Alot better than I can do with the D100 and 80-400 on flight shots.
I did get one decent one today...Out of how many i have shot in a year... ugh
    Can count on one hand.
  6. Pretty good shot Dave. I've been practicing w/mine and I know it takes lots of practice! But yours looks fine.
  7. Dave, anyone who had this Osprey shot should be happy to have it in their bag of tricks! Nicely done!!
  8. Thanks to you all for the comments. I am going to continue working on my flight shot technique with the D1H/80-400 combo, I think I can do better:smile: .
