Flocks of Phlox

  1. Driving down a country road today, we were greeted with this scene:


    So we investigated further and got these:




    These are all wild phlox.

  6. Glad you are enjoying them. I'm tempted to return with better equipment, but it's a pretty long drive. These were made with my D70s +18-200VR.
  7. Pretty. So you have wild version of Phlox. Here it is just a common garden plant and it blooms like crazy this year.

    Very pleasing to look at while driving around. I was not aware they grew wild.
    My grandpa had big bushes of them.

  10. Great shots just what I like. You captured what you saw along with the feelings at that exact minute. Nice job... The funny thing is you could go back fully armed but it wouldn't be the same.
