Excellent series - I really like the first one.
Stunning series Randy. Just outstanding.
Nice set Randy.
#2 is just amazing! Thanks for showing us...
Excellent shots Randy!
Nice shot of the Hurricane Bird....err... Ibis... you know, the hurricanes mascot?... never mind.
Amazingly nice work. #1 & #5 are my favorites.
Thanks for sharing.
I had a feeling I needed to come here to see some of your shots from vacation.
These are really great Randy.. .Very well done. Spot on !
Great stuff Randy, you do a fine job with birds.
Gee whiz Randy! Your birdies are always so vibrant, sharp, and just down right beautiful! keep em comin!
Great shots Randy. I really like the details in the feathers of the white ibis (?).
thx guys, considering who you guys are and how much I respect your skill these kind words are very motivational for me....
Nice detail and color Randy. what set-up are you using these days?
this was vacation so D300 + 300/4 + TC or 80-400
if I was at home I would have used the 300 2.8 + TC instead of the 300/4 but the 80-400 is my always my #1 zoo lens....
The D3 doesn't get used for wildlife often but the Raptor Center (today) is one of the places I use it with the 80-400
Marvalous photos, could you please tell the lens used ?
all but the parrot were shot w/ a D300 + 300/4 + TC
the parrot was shot w/ a D300 +80-400vr
at Viera you can get very close for these kinds of shots
Thanks Randy and I missed the last shot (egale?) Amazing detail I can even see the reflection in his/her eye
