Flower on pastel

  1. I didn't see it this way when I took it, but I really like how the de-focussed background has a pastel look to it. Too bad I wasn't up just a bit higher looking more into the flower.

  2. Beautiful shot Ron! The DOF works really well in this one, and the flower is tack sharp against the soft background.

    You might not get the same result if you were higher up though, I think the perspective of the flower as it is with the stem works really well here.
