Ok I will admit I do not have a green thumb, nor do I really like flowers...I mean I do love receiving them...but I am not the type to go and plant a rose garden in my back yard.

Ok now that I've got that out of the way...a couple of months ago out from nowhere these green bushes started growing in my backhyard, then shortly thereafter they started to sprout these red flowers. Again we didn't plant them and we've been living here for 2 1/2 years. Could they have blown in...like a seed? Ok I took this with my new little Olympus P&S underwater camera. So the quality isn't great...but I thought it did pretty good.

Hibiscus is what I would have said, allthough I don't "know flowers" either.

Nice shot nonetheless, they're a great colour.

Hibisucus...ok great. I really do like them. The P&S did a good job - I think I'll be happy with this little camera.

    Thanks everyone!
