Excellent pics Keith. You know that Ron R says about butt shots though....

Actually, I've taken plenty of these myself. You can't shoot their faces if they ain't facing you, right? And there is something beautiful to me in the feather and wing structures of these big old birds.

The flight shot is great BTW. Very sharp and well exposed.

Keep them coming.

Keith:

Great shots. I wish my butt shots turned out as well as yours. Of course, my but is not as nice as the ones you took, but......

Not bad for a bad day of shooting.

Keith...

Are you having issues with that 400 BACK focusing?

It;s a joke Keith...

By the way...that action which you use to sign your images...is this something available?

Hi Paul,

Hardly a "bad" day - just not a "perfect" day, maybe?

The first two would have been perfect - from the front - so, OK< you have a bit of a point - but well exposed and technically great pics.

The thrid is nice, maybe a tad too centred in the frame - but, hey, it's a fine shot, like the water colours for contrast.

The last is a great shot - very nice - good impact.
PAUL, YOU ARE WAY TOO KIND  , but thank you for the kind words!

Great shots Keith and that backside view on the first one is still a terrific shot. It really shows the wing muscles in action. LOL on the last one, but it wouldn't really be any fun if Photoshop could make all our shots perfect - there'd be no challenge to make it interesting.
