Flyboys

  1. Just watched the movie "Flyboys" tonight and added this to my best movie list.
The graphics will put you on the edge of your seat.
It is based on true story and is very gripping.
There is a little blood, but not overdone. My hat's off
to the producer! I was soaked with sweat by the end of the
movie and didn't even know it until it was done.
    WOOOW!!!!

  2. I just saw the DVD on the shelf on a major electronic reseller last night. I almost picked it up. I guess I'll have to go back... ;)

Flyboys was an engrossing book and there was more than a little gore in the details. Thanks for mentioning that it has been made into a movie--it will go on the Netflix list. I'm eager to see if it views as history or as hollywood.

  4. Oh, hollywood always has to add their 2 cents to about anything.
Some of the flying stunts are a bit overdone, but for the most part
you feel right up in the air with the boys. There are true
historic facts included with the training and missions.
As for the gore, IMO, it was light, compared to many other
movies I have viewed. HW could have made it much worse.
