    A question if I might....

    Have you had the opportunity to shoot a 28mm 2.8 AIS in a landscape situation yet?

    In your opinion, would it be as good as or better than the wide end of a 28-70 AFS?

    I know you speak rather highly of it's close focus work.

    This would be used on a D2X.

    Yes I have done exactly this, and no, the 28/2.8 is not that spectacular for landscape work with D2X. Near-range shots and close-ups look great, however.
