For UK WW2 plane buffs.....

  1. A refurbished B-17 Flying Fortress WWII bomber will be taking to the skies at The Flying Legends Air Show in Duxford on 12 and 13 July. (From the BBC)

  4. I just had a look at the RIAT list....I should not have done that:eek:: I'm drooling all over my keyboard!!! That's an impressive list of aircraft to be displayed!!! How I wish I could be there!!!:frown:

    I'm going to the RIAT, though i wish i was going to duxford, but the F22's are tempting!
     
  6. I heard rumor that there may be a couple of them. The Liberty Foundation flew the Liberty Belle to the UK for a month. That was an undertaking in and of itself (http://www.libertyfoundation.org/)

    Doesn't look like it is going to be at Farnborough next week, which is a pity. I can see the planes from my backyard. :biggrin:
