But with astro-turf you don't get that big cloud of dust, that obscures the players, when they slide.
You also don't have that cloud of dust getting in your face.

Now these are baseball pictures!!
A lot of the pros could learn studying these. It is a special skillset to know where to be, and properly time the play.
