Hey y'all,
First time posting pictures here. I have some pictures from a recent friends wedding at Conroe, TX. The little kid is my boy and my wifey is holding him in a pic. Please let me know what you think. All critiques welcome.

Thanks,
David

I think you need to pay more attention to details. These photos are nothing more than "family snapshots". In #1 & 3, there is a lot of dead space. Zoom in or get closer to your subject without cutting off body parts.
Photo 1. Their feet are cut off. The one guy has his hands in his pockets.
Photo 2. The guy in the background is distracting as is the blue envelope.
Photo 3. Again the background is distracting.

Yea. these are all casual family shots. Nothing planned. I appreciate the comments. Will keep them in mind when shooting. I like the use of dead space, but might need to better incorporate or have less distracting backgrounds.

For what it's worth, I like negative space. I love the proper use of it.

#2 and #3 are definitely snap shots. But #1 would have been perfect if you hadn't cut off their feet, and if the women wasn't bending over in the background. Fix those little things, and I'd say you got yourself a winner!
