It was overcast and also had a few showers while I was out for my walk this morning. It did clear up later in the day.

Great set. I always enjoyed my trips to Perth and Brisbane just for the different birds that I would see. If I was in Perth over a weekend, I would walk up to Kings Park from the CBD. It made for a good day out

Thank you Karen. The 500 pf lens is very nice, although can be an issue if the subject is too close due to minimum focus of 3 mtrs. I've also been using the Z fc on silent shutter, which doesn't appear to be detrimental.

Thank you. Yes both states are great to visit, particularly for birding, with Western Australian also magnificent for native orchids.

+1 on what Karen's comments are...amazing birds and amazing job.

Thank you Louie. We are very fortunate with so much wildlife close to suburbia. Now COVID restrictions are being lifted, I do need to go further afield.

That's an amazing set of spectacular birds, all beautifully photographed.

Thank you Jim.

Thank you Nigel. There were a few more varieties I also photographed. I did walk a reasonable distance in the 2 hours I was out, although there wasn't alot of exercise considering the number of images I took. :)

Richard - I always enjoy seeing your bird photos, and these are exceptional. What a terrific variety, all of which were photographed beautifully!

Thank you Eric. It was a nice morning for birding

Great set of images, had a note suggesting one as a feature! Very nice.

Than you Wade. And also thanks to the person for suggesting one of my images as a feature. I do have one up already (Ghost fungi), which I'm very grateful for.

Awesome set of images for a morning walk. What did the afternoon hold? :)

Thank you Dan. After editing the files, and then requiring a Nana nap, not alot. :)

Well, Heck, Richard, my apologies, when I received the note about featuring your image, I glanced at the images, but failed to see the Ghost Fungi image, since it has been a few days, to correct my error, I am removing the later image and keeping the current image.

Both are worthy, but we do try and keep a few rules in place regarding features, long sigh….

I'm awestruck.

Thank you Bill
