From the coast...

Paul and I headed over to the coast yesterday, I wanted to catch one of the lighthouses against the sunset sky. Unfortunately, the one we chose was closed on Wednesday! Had to make do with this...

Techie stuff: D2Xs with 28-70/2.8. Exposure: 1.8 seconds @ F8.. By the way, the sky was so saturated, I had to "tone" it down a bit in processing!

A superior shot, great lines, the numerous levels of depth, (foreground vegatation lines, beach lines, water lines, horizon line, and cloud lines)

The symmetry in the colors, great focus and composition. congrats on a nice image.

Where was this shot at? Very nice photo. If your bored on May 12th and want to take free photos, meet me at Dublin Ranch Golf Course around 5pm. I'll be the guy in the tux standing next to a beautiful woman in a white dress, look on the green next to the clubhouse, lol.

Randy,
Very pretty shot. Each of the elements, the sky, surf and vegetation, are beautifully presented and together make the shot wonderful.
