Harris, you don't have to dangle a fish for a osprey, you've got to LOOK like a fish to get his attention! *LOL*
Excellent captures....

What lens did you use on the dragon fly? nice shots by the way.

Hey Greg,

Shot handheld basically with my monopod legs drawn up on the D2H with a 300 f4 and 1.4x. Shoulda pushed the iso so I could stop down, but the little fella was there right then so I fired off some shots. Thanks. They are sharper than pbase allows with a link.

Nice shots Harris!

For the Osprey, I think you should get a recorded call that mimics his cry, That'll get his attention! What happened with that flower closeup? Too close for minimum focus? That great white Heron, or whatever he is, could been cropped a touch tighter, imo, but I do like the overall composition.

the flower was shot at min focus with wide open lens so dof, the center was infocus on the original. the heron, was already cropped over 50%, very far away. Just thought the purple flowers and the white looked nice.
