I was up at the state park and took this of Beth who was shooting some
autumn color with her Nikon DSLR:

Ilford Pan 400>800, HC-110B, 9.25 mins, 20C

I used an old beat-up Mamiyaflex C2 with blue dot Sekor 2.8/80 lens. The
Ilford film isn't available in the states, bought it from a Chinese vendor.

Nice sidelight & Beautiful model! Classic pose & feel Bill!

Steve, thanks! She likes the one above, but she also likes this one from the
little (and cheap) Canon A490, that took almost no time at all to process:

She wanted some extra pictures to send to her folks in Montana, and her
boyfriend stationed in Afghanistan.

Great portraits, Bill!
Lovely model indeed.

I also love the lighting in both of these, although very different.

Bart, thank you, it was a fun outing.

+1! I prefer #2 slightly because I tend to like more dramatic lighting.

Tri, I think she does, too, but she knows how much work I do with film pix,
so she didn't say. Thanks!

I like the lighting in the second shot better. In the first, her arm looks kinda funny. In the second, she just looks lovely. In the last, we get to see her "un-posed," and that is perhaps the best of all. Fine model and good shootin', Bill!

Great photos, Bill. I especially like the lighting and the composition of the second shot. Very impressive image.

Alan and Doug, thanks! Appreciate your input--I could travel lighter just packing the point and shoot, next time.

Lovely shot Bill... I really enjoy your posts as they as so varied on subjects and equipment used to capture them, you must have a blast doing it all...

Wally, thanks, yes, I especially enjoy puttering about with the old stuff, even if it is more work.
