  1. Taken today in my front yard no unusal or new species all shots with the D2X and the 300 2.8 with 2X converter

    Ohh, I see your hording all the birds in your front yard. Just kidding Mike, Great stuff! I agree some sun would be nice.

  3. Wonderful wonderful images, Mike! I just love the robin and the cardinal. Send that robin up north when you're finished with him - my favourite bird.
    You've mastered the art of fill flash - barely perceptible. :smile:

    Excellent series of images Mike!!

    I would love to have this many species in my yard. Anymore, all we ever seem to see are house sparrows and an occasional cardinal.

    Great Mike. I love them all, especially the Robin. Your 2.0TC continues to amaze me.

  12. Thanks Sandi as common as the Robins are I always get excite when I can get a shot of one perched. Whats you addy I will overnight a pair up to you.
    I still struggle with flash on occasion under certain circumstances
     
  13. Well last weekedn we had 4 inches of snow on the ground! but yu are right it is gettign closer
