These are my rough first attempts with the 35mm and an old r72 filter. Shot with the X-E1.

Nice. I've got one of those filters as well but haven't tried it on the fuji yet. Did you shoot in JPEG B&W mode, or RAW and convert later?

I did use a tripod. I think the shutter speeds were down around 1/4 sec, but I was also shooting at 200iso. I shot those in jpg, but it was more or less a quick and dirty experiment. I'm heading down to the coast this weekend where I'll be shooting a ton, and they'll be raw. Really happy with the results, though.

I've also used the X100 a little bit for IR. :) Here are two from my most recent IR trip. I'm happy with its IR performance. Thanks to the excellent high ISO performance, that whole session was actually shot handheld from 1/30-1/60 seconds at ISO 800-1600. No problems at all in broad daylight!

I couldn't get hold of one of those popular Hoya R72 filters, but these were shot with a near equivalent from Germany - a Heliopan 715 filter attached via a filter ring adapter.

I'm probably stating the obvious, but I'm amazed by the versatility of these little cameras!
