1. All is not lost as it looks like he recovered his own fumble. This is a great series.

Those are some nice captures, Ty. It was recommended to me quite a while ago to always stay with the play because much can happen after you think the action is over with. Your images are proof that staying with the play is well worth the effort. The ball coming loose after the missed-handoff would not have been captured it you would have stopped shooting. That is a fundimental in sports shooting that is often not followed. Great shooting, Ty!

Thats a great catch.. Good job.

Enjoyed the great images. Nice and clear and good color here.
  4. Hey Gordon,

Thanks for the comments. As it turned out, all ended up lost as he did not recover the fumble as the next few shots show. Even though they ended up losing, it was a great experience shooting for me. I had fun!

  5. Hey Frank,

Thanks a bunch for the kind comments. I was indeed trying to stay focused, literally, and shoot through the play. As I'm sure you know, so much can happen with all of the moving parts that often you get the Ref's flying into your focus and what not that it is just so cool when you rattle off a series like this one and they all come out in focus. I was really happy that it turned out like it did.

We are going to have to get together one of these days before the season is over. I wanted to try and get out today for the local homecoming game but couldn't. I ended up working a double tonight and just got in.

Hey listen, we are going to be at our place in the city the weekend of Oct. 22nd. I am planning on going down to Lincoln Park and see what I can catch. Let me know if you want to hook up that weekend.
  6. Hi Gale,

Thanks for enjoying the images. And I too am always amazed at the color that comes out of the D2X. I am completely blown away each and every time. I cannot wait to get a chance to do what I really like with it. Portraiture! Just so darn busy working all the time. :(
