Last Saturday it was such a great Fall day that my son David and I deceided to go to the "Grounds for Sculpture". I have been wanting to experiment with my 10.5 fisheye here. I was feeling in an artistic mood.
Please take a look at these and let me know what you think. I really like the fisheye effect.

    Thanks for looking.

  2. I like these. I think you found some great uses for that lens. And my older son got a big kick out of the foot image as he went to bed. He likes to present his foot when I point a camera at him too often.

    Interesting sculptures too.

Now I guess I'll have to break mine out. Haven't used it since September.

  3. I'd say you got this lens down. Great images, and use of your imagination.

  4. I wish i had a nice place like that near home to go to take pictures, the one before last seem to have a lot of angles to take great shots. Great pictures.

Nice shots, you did a really good job of making use of the extreme FOV and unique perspective.

  7. Hi Dave

I really like the way you used the fisheye here, very creative and since I am mostly learning I see them as a good study. The bad thing about these photos is they are making me want that lens. My wife has the cure for LLD tho' and will promptly give me a dose, after I heal I will have forgotten all about it.

LOL, The lens is expensive, but is truly amazing seeing the world through a 180 degree perspective. I find one of the hardest things with this lens is keeping myself out of the photo!
    Thanks for the comments.

  9. Very creative use of this lens! So, how many times do you have to crop out your toes!!??? *LOL*

  11. Dave...I have this lens too and I bought it because I like the effects that it gives too. I haven't used mine a lot but what I did see I liked.

  12. the bad thing about this thread is it cost me 579.00
great use of the lens, every image is perfectly presented.

Dave, You will love this lens. It is small and lightweight and it really will give you a unique view on the world.
