Fuzzy the Bee

Old tired bumble bee...moving around slowly on his daily rounds...kind of like me, I guess....these are the only ones I can catch these days....

Nikon 200 f4 ...f16 @ 1/250 with SB800 on TTL..spot metered

nice shot mike..nice of him to move so slow for you.. the bees in my yard think i am still young....

This is a super shot! Unlike the smaller bees, these guys stick around on the flowers a little longer. Maybe I should try a spot meter on them as well. I have been using matrix with very mixed results.

Thanks Lisa !! I think spot metering works best for this type of thing too..... :)

About how far away from Mr. Fuzzy were you on this shot?

Thanks for your comments.... Mr Fuzzy was about 20-24" away....safe distance, even though he doesn't bite.....Just buy it and get it over with..!! :wink:
