Garden City Pier and Moon

This is a shot of the pier at Garden City Beach, South Carolina. I added the moon as an afterthought. The actual moon was at the same height in the sky, but was out of frame to the left. So, I decided to move the moon to where I rather it had been. What do you think? Does the moon add or detract from the image?

Hi Cliff,
It's a lovely shot because of the colors, angles and water texture. The moon would have been a happy cooincidence, but neither makes nor breaks the image.

This might be slightly brighter than reality; but, if so, by very little. This was taken only moments before sunrise; so, there was quite a bit of light.
