GBH, full flap landing

Discussion in 'Birds' started by Louis Champan, Jul 19, 2007.

  1. While Jim, Bill and myself were out shooting osprey a few weeks ago there was this local GBH that just couldn't stay away this one day. The guy just kept flying back and forth in front of us until some fishermen scared him away.
Here's a few shots of the GBH coming in for a landing. These were all full frame, that's why the clipping on #3.

Great series, Louis. The GBH is one of my favorite birds - just don't know why they are called Great Grey Herons here - they look exactly the same!
  8. Excellent shots. Like the exposure and detail. Well done!
