GBH nest building

    100 to 150 GBH have set up a rookery in stanley park ,vancouver bc.
    Less than 1 kilometer from the downtown core.
    Just got my 300/f4 afs and i think im gonna like it .

  4. I'm betting you're going to love the 300mm F4. These shots are good exspecially given the tuff angle you had to shoot into, up against the sky, you kept the exposure pretty good.

  5. Great images! Hate to say it but after all the storms that SP encountered this winter, you'll have plenty of light.
    Hopefully you'll keep up with the series, and keep us 'posted', no pun intended.

    Nice shots Chris. I'd love to be able to shoot that scene with you. GBH's are among my favorites. I', sure that you will enjoy the 300 f4. IMO it is one of Nikon's best lenses, and for the price, it is impossible to beat.

  11. nice shots.. I enjoyed shooting at a rookery north east of Toronto last spring, and this reminds me to get up there again soon.

    Hi Chris, you did really well with these! :smile:

    I agree with Frank (Flew), the Nikon 300f/4 is one of the biggest bang for the buck.
