Georgia waterfalls

Discussion in 'Landscapes, Architecture, and Cityscapes' started by Mitchell, Jun 15, 2005.

  1. Just spent a week in the mountains of Georgia volunteering as a camp doctor. Some great hiking and unexpected waterfalls. This was my first attempt at long exposures with waterfalls. Any comments or suggestions?

Nice job on the water. How long was thte exposure?

  6. merged photos?

I'm assuming you merged two photos. I dont' see much blur in the tree leaves. Very nice effect.

  7. Thank you all for the kind comments! I was a little reluctant to post this picture here. I took several other waterfall shots, but this was my favorite. It is actually only one photo (not merged). No blur on the leaves because there was no wind.

    Here is the EXIF data:

    Nikon D70
    Aperture priority
    f20
    3 seconds
    35mm
    EV +1.3

    I also used a 2.0 ND B+W filter.

  8. Looks nice I really like the feel of this one, lets see some more
