Getting to know my Z6

I bought the Z6 along with the FTZ adaptor , with the understanding that I could use my F mount lenses. No problem with my Nikon 50mm or my Nikon 18-105mm, but my Sigma 70-300 will only focus manually. No autofocus!! Perhaps because it's not Nikon? This lens worked on my previous cameras; a D50, D90 and my D7100, so I naturally presumed it would work on the Z6!

FYI:
"Thank you for purchasing and using our products.
We would like to announce that we have confirmed that SIGMA’s interchangeable lenses for Nikon mount in the current lineup do not have any issues with general operation when they are used on the “Z7”, released by Nikon Corporation, via their “Mount Adapter FTZ”.
In addition, please note the information below when using the following lenses.
Interchangeable lenses that do not incorporate an AF drive motor will operate only in manual focus.
Some interchangeable lenses shipped out before November 2013 that are not compatible with the latest DSLR cameras will not operate."

my sigma 150 won't focus or meter on my z6, i wasn't shocked
Thanks for that, Randy. I was obviously mistaken in thinking that because my Sigma lens was a Nikon fit, that it would be compatible with my Z6. Ah, well!!!
