Not that I wished for rain, but after seeing Chris' shots in the rain this week, I was not unhappy that we got misty conditions yesterday. Shot with handheld D700 + 70-200 VR1 and tripod mounted D300 + 300 f/2.8...

Hard fought and unexpected loss to rival Concord (NH) yesterday:

Thanks Chris. What this game came down to, very simply, was who got first possession after the faceoff. Both teams could score once they got the ball. Unfortunately, in the second half, the other team got 8 out of 9 possessions and caught up and passed us. They were also successful in playing keep-away with us for the last three minutes of the game. Very well played second half on their part.

Awesome photos!

I have to give a lot of credit to female lacrosse players. All the equipment the men wear and the girls do it in just a eye cage.

Thanks, Pete and Mark! Al, you have that right... It's supposed to be non- contact, yet they end up after each game with bruises all over their arms from something! Also, they can't check towards the face or head.
