Gliders

    Well they are planes just without engines!

    Drove past the local gliding club today where they were taking advantage of the better weather (for flying but not necessarily for taking photos).
    I had to keep to the edge of the airfield ( Insurance and health aned safety red tape) so no real close up stuff.

    Patiently waiting for the tug.

    I hope to discuss with the club secretary better access to the aircraft in the future. I felt I missed an opportunity for some really close photos especially with the 50 1.8
