GLISSADE Autumn Leaves

  2. I like the isolation of the "floating" leaf! Very clever shot!!
     
  3. very interesting how the reflection shows the break in the surface tension as the outline and not the actual leaf. Very "moody" shot. I like it.

    Good eye.
    Very interesting and very different.
    Lots of shapes and mood there.
    Nice colors good reflection of the leaf with light.

    Yeah kinda grows on ya. Keep wanting to look again.

  8. I have revisited this photo several times since you posted it. I love the minimalist composition: the single bright leaf, the unusual outlined shadow, the diagonal sand undulations. (I didn't understand the shadow thing until Dave wrote about the surface tension. Interesting.) It is more difficult, I think, to do good vertical compositions. This is a really nice photo.
