Glossy Ibises

    Bright, early afternoon sun really brought out the richness of color and iridescence of the feathers on this guy. Shots taken at Brigantine NJ (Edwin B. Forsythe NWR). Same set-up as other shots I've posted recently: D2x with 300/2.8 VR and TC-20EII, shot from car with lens resting on a bean bag. (I don't know what I would do if somebody hadn't invented the bean bag, clearly one of the great high tech gizmos ever. :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin: ) Thanks for looking!

    I didn't really expect a great day given the fact that our migratory birds are all up north and won't start heading south for a while, but the locals really cooperated. Stay tuned for more photos.
