Golden Hour Ducks

  1. I chased these two ducks round and round the end of a little pond. Must've taken 50 pics of them by following them around. Out of the water, through the grass, into the water, out of the water.... This was just before I left them. I think they look relieved.

    80-200 taken @ 200mm f5.6

LOL I can picture that. Kinda like trying to chase a butterfly...Forget it.

But they look good now. Nice evening color.

Don't you just love that golden light. 8)

I'd rather have once decent shot in this kind of lighting than 10 in the harsh midday sun. Nice capture.
  4. Yeah, the light is really special. I've been going through my pics and I found a couple of flying duck pics that actually are in focus (not bad for the 80-200 non AFS). Got butt shots, side shots, etc, etc. Will post them another day so as not to go overboard (considering I'm new and all)

Thanks to you and Gale for the kind words (and you Gale for your earlier wisdom).
