The new 80-400 VR arrived on Thursday. The clouds finally cleared a bit and we went to the OSU Wetlands to look around. The thistle plants were going to seed and the Goldfinches were having a feast:

I see what Gale VR VR VR VR likes about this lens!!

This was our first time at the OSU Wetlands, will go back again for sure!

Sweet captures, Bob and Nan. The goldfinch is such a pretty bird and it looked as though the meal was very satisfying. Nice rabbit shot as well...great detail on all of the images. Enjoy that new lens.

Bob,
Good going kiddo. Good for you.

Yeah I love my 80-400.. Takes some tricks and techniques but it works. Got a Redwing Black bird today. Tough for me to get little birdies.

You did good.

congrats....Youuuuu needed that :>)))))
