Goldfinches triptych

    Just some birds from the backyard. They won't be around long so I have to make hay even if the sun isn't shining. :smile:

    Excellent images of one of my most difficult targets Andy. They are so small that it is hard to get any real detail, but you have certainly accomplished the difficult. :smile:

    Really nice shots Andy! Goldfinch have only recently begun frequenting feeders here in the NE, but so far I have not been able to get close enough to them for a good photo. Also the males that I have seen here are not yet in their full yellow breeding plumage.

  12. Nice shots. I have many goldfinches in all different phases of new feathering. These are good, goldfinches are not easy to capture.
