It's a tough job but someone has to do it. My friend and I went fishing yesterday on Lake Juliette in central Georgia, USA and what a beautiful day it was. I have one of those small 9 foot boats that allows us to get into areas the bigger boats can't go. We like to fish for panfish, specifically bream and we do it with fly rods and small topwater 'poppers'. I took along my 5700 and got a few pictures. The weather couldn't have been better..
    and the fish were biting..
I think we caught around 50 total.
We left close to sundown and I managed to get a shot or two going back to the dock, one of a fisherman getting ready to leave..
and one of the "nightwatch' taking up its post..
Maybe next time I'll take my dslr.
  2. sure looks like fun

Great pics as usual Jarrell. Shows once again that it's the shooter not the cam that make the difference.

The fish fry is tonight. Wanna come? :)
    Thanks guys!
  5. Yeah, but I have a prior engagement, unfortunately.

That and a little matter of the Atlantic Ocean.

Nice pics, Jarrell, and I'm pleased to see that someone's prepared to do the dirty jobs that nobody else wants.

Nice shots! I haven't been fishing in years...a fish fry sounds yummy. I might just have to do that sometime soon! Thanks for sharing.

You know, I'm one of the worlds lousiest fishermen. I mean really! I'm looking at the reflections in the water, how blue the sky is, wishing I was over there where the ducks are playing around..... anything but watching my line. I want to go back soon and not even take a rod and reel with me. Just a camera..
