Most crane flies I see are hideous looking creatures that look like something out of a sci-fi novel. I came accross this one last night on one of my Yucca Plants. It was cold, so it wasn't moving much and appeared to be asleep/resting. It was nice as they are usually all over the place.

Nate, these are great! I've got a pic of the only one I've ever seen, and I just sent a coffee mug to my nephew with the crane fly on it (he likes bugs). They are very interesting looking creatures!
