i'd just like to say, i guessed in my head, before looking at your Sig OR Exif data... and i was right. workin at my camera shop has its benefits, i get to play with all the gear and get very used to it all.

Congratulations on getting your new lens. You seem to be getting a shopful
    of glass in your cupboard.

    best wishes.

I am at work and unable to read your EXIF so I just don't know what you purchased (please fill me in). I will say though, I can't tell whether it's the camera or the processing, but this image seems to have even richer color and contrast compared to your other shots (which were already excellant). So what is it, please tell ?????

    I'm guessing the 35-70 f/2.8.

Daniel, it's the 28-70 2.8 ..as Uncle Frank calls it, the Beast!
    ..this glass is amazing:eek:

Interesting. So how does it compare to your 35-70 2.8?

there's nothing quite like it, imho. Nikon incorporated the best attributes of the 35-70 and then took it up a notch! it's truely a fantastic hunk of glass...;-))
  14. is this the same one as in the FS section?

    yes it is Dave.
  16. I'm confused. You seem pleased with its renderings, so why are you selling it?

    I too am quite confused.
Did you buy it as part of a package deal and just decide to sell it before it ever arrived?
