  1. My daughter found this adorable little skirt for the baby. We just had to give it a try with the lights.

    What do you think?

I like your lighting. Excellent expression, great glint in the eyes. Lighting is well balanced.

    What a wonderful subject!!
  3. Super shot Terri!
That poodle cloth is working much better in this shot.

  4. What a fun picture!!!! Perfectly lighted, perfectly exposed, perfectly posed....a photo for framing and hanging!!

  6. Fantastic Terri!

You have great versatility. Your landscape photography is stunning. It is fun to watch you becoming a portrait specialist. Easy to see why you are headed in this direction with these adorable subjects in your life!!!!
  7. Hey hey made me smile that one Terri, lovely work.
  8. I have to agree about the subject. She is my granddaughter! We are going to try to get a portrait of her every month. Thanks for your feedback on my setup.

Yes it seemed that it didn't reflect as much. I'm going to look for more options but just haven't had the time.

Thanks Connie....We are going to try to get a portrait of each of the babies every month. It's a fun goal. After Gordons cute portrait of his granddaughter in the tutu I told my daughter that we needed to find one. She found this adorable skirt instead.
  9. Anna,
Thank you so much. It sure is nice that we are getting more women here. haven't met you yet, so welcome to the cafe. I have three new grandbabies, twin boys and a girl. I also have a two year old grandson. They all live near me, so as you can imagine, my life revolves around babies right now!

Thanks, Marie. I used to be afraid of taking photos of people. Rocks, rivers, and mountains were much easier. Now I am feeling more comfortable behind the camera with people as my subjects and am enjoying it very much. I still plan to get out in nature this summer, though.

With all these babies needing portraits, I just HAVE to learn!

Thank you Daren. She makes me smile, too!
  10. Terri, this is so cute - what a fantastic smile on that wee little face.

  14. Beautiful lighting and skin tones on this one. Well done!
  15. It all works!!! She is tooooo cute.
  16. Sandi,
Isn't it fun when they start to smile! Glad you liked it.

Thanks. My girls are busy watching for things that they want in their babies' photos. It is fun to have them involved, and they have great ideas.

Smiles are good! Glad to be able to help give you one.

Thanks. My daughter did great in picking out the skirt. I love it too!

    Thanks, Mitchell.
It sure is fun learning. Hope you got new gear and are up and running again.

Hi David. I agree that she is toooo cute. I love her so much!
  17. I love it. You are doing a super job photographing your grandchildren. No Sears portraits for them!!! I love the skirt and the headband.

  18. Terri, you sure are getting your monies worth out of that fabric you found.

She is just beautiful. Her parents must be so happy with your work - it's always so nice.
  20. I am having a blast. I haven't been able to get out and do any landscapes, but I don't mind. These kids are keeping me busy. Glad you like it.

I have to get my money's worth out of everything I buy. You know the saying, "Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without!" Glad you like the photo.

My girls are so excited about the photos I am taking. They look for accessories to use in the photos. It's fun! Thanks for the encouragement on my photos.
