It's good to look back through old photo shoots every once and a while. By waiting a long while, I find that I sometimes have a new perspective on older shots. Also, I've been playing around with CC and LR5 and some of the newer capabilities/process flows make some stuff (e.g. HDR) so much easier to handle. Here are a few from a 2010 trip to Greece that I decided to process just recently:

For 3 and 4, I actually went back and reprocessed an HDR that I remember being quite tricky back in 2010. I didn't look at the old shot prior to reprocessing and it's interesting to see my take now as opposed to when the shot was fresh in my mind.

I can't say which I like more. If I had to say anything, I think the older processing is more faithful to what the sunset looked like, but maybe not... I guess I'll just have to go back to Santorini to remind myself :)

As always, CC are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Dave

Maybe you need to use a little of #3 and #4....I like the door and shadow detail of the windmill in #4...but with the warmer tones of #3....

Once I distance myself from images I've processed, I often come back to them with a different take. Sometimes I wonder ".....WHAT was I thinking! !!!!"

Both 3 and 4 are good, but for me an image of these scenes resembles #4.
