  2. Great series Alex. I don't usually like the "here's looking at you" poses but your #4 had me chuckling to myself as I looked at it.

    I'm definitely going to have to second that. How long did the bird stand there?

  7. Maybe 3 or 4 minutes. They come and go. Get tired of one spot or get spooked and fly. I just follow them to the next rock. Sometimes they fly away and are back within ten minutes. Plenty of action on that jetty so I keep shooting terns or pelicans until they come back.
