Thanks! They're interesting because they look like small birds, but when the neck is extended they look more like a heron.

We don't see that many green herons here. They are typically obscured in tree brush and seem to be skittish. Lucky you!

Nice Dossy. I have only seen one or to around here in the past. They were shy, I remember that.
